I didn't go to school for this. In fact, I only took one photography class in college. It was about learning camera settings and shooting/developing film. It was helpful and I enjoyed it, but it was too slow a process for me. Digital changed everything.
After graduating from Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Graphic Design. My career began splitting time between art director and photography assistant. I switched from film to digital. This is when I learned about controlling light. My passion for photography quickly grew until I knew that's what I wanted to focus on.
I'm currently shooting for Lewis Communications, a
full-service ad agency with offices in Birmingham, Mobile
& Nashville. I've been blessed to travel all over the world working with some great folks and shooting for some amazing clients. I've seen some cool things and won some rad awards. But at the end of the day, I just enjoy shooting.
